Omnicom Group Agencies Celebrate Key Wins at Agency of the Year Awards
PHD Named Media Agency of the Year; Tribal DDB Is Digital Agency of the Year in Asia Pacific
SINGAPORE, Dec 11, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC) agencies in Asia Pacific celebrated another year of ground-breaking work and achievements with Tribal DDB clinching Digital Agency of the Year and PHD winning Media Agency of Year. DDB Group Melbourne was also recognized as the Australia & New Zealand Office of the Year.

The Agency of the Year Awards, which recognize excellence in marketing and communications in Asia Pacific, were held in Singapore.

In the individual achievements category, Jasmin Sohrabji, Managing Director of OMD India, was named National Agency Head of the Year. Carol Potter, CEO of BBDO/Proximity China, was runner-up in this category. John Zeigler, DDB Group Asia Pacific President and CEO Asia Pacific, Japan and India, finished as runner-up in the Regional Agency Head of the Year category.
