PetSmart, Inc. has named Michael Goodwin to the position of senior vice
president and chief information officer effective June 2, 2014.
Goodwin brings more than 20 years of information technology experience
to PetSmart, most recently serving as senior vice president and chief
information officer of Technology and Business Enablement at Hallmark, a
$4 billion global enterprise with more than 2,600 stores and an
extensive online presence.

Goodwin began his career at Hallmark as an end-user technology analyst
in 1990 and has held positions of increasing responsibility since then,
culminating with his promotion to SVP and CIO in 2006 when he was also
named a corporate officer.
Prior to joining Hallmark Cards, Goodwin served as an officer in the
United States Army. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science
from the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., and an M.B.A. from
the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kan.
