BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Nov 21, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Delek US Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DK), a diversified energy company with
assets in the petroleum refining, marketing and retail industries, today
confirmed that a fire at the Company's 60,000-barrel-per-day Tyler,
Texas, refinery has temporarily caused a halt in production.
At approximately 2:00 pm central time on Nov. 20, an explosion and
related fire occurred in an area of the refinery occupied by the
Saturates Gas Plant. The cause of the incident and the extent of the
damage to the refinery have not yet been established. As a result of the
incident, at least six people have received medical attention.
